More photos from Christmas 2008...

Posted is our Christmas card photo....only a few months old.
Where has the time gone? I've got to keep up with the blog I created a while back....I love what others do with their blogs, and I need to stay on path.

Patience...patience!

Cast Off!

Andrew's cast has been off for several days, however this is the first picutre cast-free. He still favors his right arm and has trouble using his left arm (being right handed doesn't help any). If he doesn't use his left arm more in the next week we may need to seek physical therapy assistance.
Andrew is pictured with one of his doctors in his elbow escapade. Andrew had taken some *goofy juice* to get him relaxed before surgery. Bye-Bye cast!

Green Cast

Andrew had the original cast's Ace Bandage removed and replaced by a green colored fiberglass wrap on 5/21/07. The doctors took X-Rays and said the pins looked to be healing the broken bones nicely. Andrew had a *fit* getting the Ace Bandage off and the green wrap put on (plaster cast underneath remained). I think Andrew felt violated or unprotected with the Ace Bandage being taken off. It only took a day for him to get over the ordeal. And of course, the kids at preschool thought the new green cast was so COOL! Eric said Andrew *worked it* in telling the kids about his new cast. If they only knew...
The photo was taken on 6-2-07 at my company picnic at Compton Gardens in Bentonville.

Attached is a picture of Andrew being silly in the kitchen. This is a photo of his cast the first week after surgery on 5/14/07. Andrew's hat is the same style as Eric wears; like father, like son!
